Establishing Statute: 3 VSA Ch 53 § 3085b
Department:
Description: The commission shall advise state agencies on matters of state policy relating to Alzheimer's disease and other dementia-related disorders in Vermont. They shall evaluate the adequacy of existing services to individuals with these disorders and conduct studies to identify gaps and resources to expand existing services. The commission will be involved in community education and in the development of laws that may affect individuals with such diseases and disorders.
