Pilot Program to Provide Real-Time Information Sharing Between Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement in New York and Vermont
May 26, 2004, Albany, NY.--Governor Jim Douglas, Governor George E. Pataki, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Robert S. Mueller III announce a critical new information-sharing pilot program to empower state and local law enforcement in New York and Vermont to fully participate in countering terrorism, assist the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF's) and protect the American people from another act of terrorism.
